The Battle of Sturt Creek
Chris, already taller than his mates, was standing on a pile to get a better view. It had appeared this morning, when he and his friends had stacked up their wood and tools on his front lawn, ready to build their fortress. Chris now looked across the road towards Sturt Creek, at the almost complete construction with intensity.
